In recognition of the month of Ramadan, the Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department will offer extended operating hours exclusively for adult members of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave. 

From Feb. 24 through March 21, 2026, The Center will remain open Tuesday through Saturday until midnight to better serve members observing Ramadan.

These extended hours are available to members ages 18 and older only. During this time, the following facilities will be accessible:

• Fitness Area
• Basketball Courts
• Indoor Track

The pool will be closed during the extended hours.

Sean Fletcher, Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Dearborn, said, “The Center is committed to supporting the needs of its community and providing a welcoming space for health, wellness, and connection throughout Ramadan.”

Group Classes
In addition to extended hours, group fitness classes will be open to both members and non-members, free of charge.

Monday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m.: Pilates
Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.:  Zumba
Monday, March 2 at 8 p.m.: Body Sculpt
Wednesday, March 4 at 8:30 p.m.: Yoga
