City Building Closures for the Holidays; Trash Collection will be Impacted

City buildings will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25, and Jan.1, 2025.  Some buildings will be open for partial hours on Dec. 31. Trash collection schedules will be impacted.

LEAF COLLECTION UPDATE: End of Leaf Collection Season

As of Dec. 7, 2024, the City has completed the second and final round of loose leaf collection across Dearborn;
Please do not rake loose leaves into residential streets.

Loose leaves collected through Saturday, Dec. 7 Yard waste, Public Service Day program to end Dec. 20

City crews will pick up loose leaves in Dearborn neighborhoods that have not yet completed their second round of collection through Saturday, Dec. 7.

City leaf collection crews will continue leaf collection in the GEER PARK AREA on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024. If time allows, crews will begin a third sweep through the City. 

Cars should be removed from streets in this area while loose leaf collection is ongoing and signs are present.
