The Authority is under the supervision and control of the Board of Directors. Per the EDDDA bylaws, members of the Board of Directors shall consist of eleven (11) members, including the Mayor or his or her designee from the City Council, plus ten additional members in accordance with the Dearborn Code of Ordinances. Members shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval by the City Council, for a 4-year term.
Not less than a majority of the members shall be persons having an interest in property located in the downtown district or officers, members, trustees, principals, or employees of a legal entity having an interest in property located in the downtown district. Not less than 1 of the members shall be a resident of the downtown district.
All members of the Board of Directors are also appointed to serve on the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall consist of the three Board officers, Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary-Treasurer, together with the Chairs of the Standing Committees. The Executive Committee shall be responsible for reviewing the agenda for the regular Board meetings and proposing the Strategic Agenda for the Board.
East Dearborn DDA meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend. Per the Board bylaws, public comment shall be heard at the end of the meeting agenda. Please note there may be a time limitation of up to three (3) minutes per person for public comment.
