Dearborn Public Health has officially launched the results of its first-ever comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The CHNA was conducted by Dearborn’s Department of Public Health and the Michigan Public Health Institute to understand community needs, attitudes, and challenges regarding health, wellbeing, safety, support, and resources. Over 1,100+ survey responses and feedback from focus groups were analyzed to identify priority public health issues. This insight was used to develop an actionable community health improvement plan that will inform future programming and interventions.
