The City of Dearborn is preparing to make key updates to its Master Land Use Plan, a policy document used by elected and appointed community leaders to guide land-use decisions across the city including those impacting transportation, development, recreation, the economy, natural resources, and arts and culture. The City sought input from the Dearborn community during an open community survey in Spring 2024.
The Master Plan helps provide a direction for future design, development, and investment in Dearborn. The City's Economic Development Department develops the plan in partnership with the Mayor's Office, City Council, and community stakeholders. Residents can help shape the Master Plan through a community survey process.
