The Dearborn Department of Public Health (DPH) was founded in April 2022, becoming just the second city in Michigan with a health department and the first to voluntarily establish such a department. 

Guided by the leadership of DPH, the City of Dearborn pilots a health-in-all-policies approach, a collaborative practice that integrates and articulates health considerations into policymaking across sectors to improve the health of the Dearborn public.
