Lap & Leisure Pool 2024 ScheduleTen Eyck, Lapeer, and Summer Stephens outdoor neighborhood pools will undergo much-needed renovations during 2024. While the pools will be unavailable to the public during construction, Ford Woods and Dunworth pools will remain open to visitors.
The renovation project is the first-of-its-kind in the 70+ years since the pools were first built and opened to the public. The upcoming changes are crucial for the long-term stability and improvement of each facility and the communities they serve.
The Neighborhood Pool Renovation Project is funded through the PEACE Project, a $6 million grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to the City of Dearborn.
