Swim Lessons
The Center offers swimming lessions for children, featuring nine levels of instruction, and a class for adults.
- Parent and Tot (ages 6 months - 3 years): Parent must accompany the child into the water.
- Preschool (ages 3 -5 years): Basic water and safety skills and rules.
- Sea Shells (Beginner and ages 6 years +): Floating, submerging, breath-holding.
- Sea Horses (Beginner): Crawl stroke, using a kickboard, jumping into the water.
- Sunfish (Intermediate): Crawl stroke, breathing, and jumping into deep water.
- Sting Rays (Advanced): Improve crawl stroke, backstroke, deep water.
- Barracudas (Beginner): Improve crawl stroke and backstroke, diving, safety, swimming 25 yards.
- Dolphins (Intermediate): Elementary backstroke and breaststroke and underwater swimming.
- Seals (Advanced): Sidestroke, starts and turns, distance swimming, and backstroke.
- Adults: Designed to accommodate adults (ages 16 and over) of all levels of ability in a group setting.
Classes are limited to 6 participants at a time.
Class Rates
- Center Passholder: $65
- Resident: $75
- Non-Resident: $85
Participants over age 13 must also purchase a pool tag.

- Feb. 12 - March 13
- March 18 - April 24 (no classes March 25 & 27)
- April 24 - June 3 (no class May 27)
Tuesday & Thursday
- Feb. 13-March 14
- March 19-April 25 (no classes March 26 & 28)
- April 30-May 30
Saturday
- Jan. 6 - March 9
- March 16 - June 1 (no classes March 30 & May 25)
Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are also available for would-be swimmers of all ages. A minimum of two lessons is required.
Lesson scheduling is subject to instructor availability.
