Nominate decorated homes by Dec. 10 for the City Beautiful Commission’s annual Winter Aglow program

Residents are invited to nominate homes with outstanding outdoor holiday or seasonal displays for consideration in the annual Winter Aglow Awards Program presented by the Dearborn City Beautiful Commission. Nominations will be accepted through noon on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025. 

To submit a nomination, fill out a form online at Dearborn.gov/CityBeautiful or call 313-943-2150.

Volunteer City Beautiful Commissioners will tour Dearborn neighborhoods to judge holiday and seasonal outdoor displays between Dec. 12-15. Residents are encouraged to keep their outdoor decorations lit and their addresses easily visible from the street during this time. 

Up to 3 displays in each of the commission’s 17 districts will be chosen for top honors, and up to seven homes in each district will be selected for honorable mention. Homes selected in both categories will receive a congratulatory letter and a window decal with the Winter Aglow logo.

The 51 top honorees also will be invited to a dinner with Mayor Abdullah Hammoud and commissioners in January 2026 celebrating awardees in each of the City Beautiful’s six recognition programs.
