City buildings will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 for the Presidents' Day holiday. Trash and recycling collection schedules will not be impacted.
City crews are repairing water main breaks at several locations: 14327 Robertson St, Warren Ave near New Yasmeen Bakery, Telegraph Rd at Doxtator St, Payne Ave at Normandale St, 1105 N. Vernon St, and behind 21367 Michigan Ave. Please avoid these areas, and review water use instructions after service is restored.
As of 4 p.m., City crews are working at two locations: salting and clearing catch basins at 5835 Horger St, and shutting off water due to burst pipes at a business at 13244 Michigan Ave. The public should avoid these work areas, and affected customers must follow water use instructions after service is restored.
