The primary power line at the City's Dog Park, 16301 Michigan Ave, along with multiple additional lines, are down following storms on June 11. The Dog Park is closed until further notice. Stay away from any downed lines and call 911 to report them.
The Department of Public Works is currently collecting fallen tree limbs across the city. Please place storm debris at your curb for collection. Call 311 to report fallen debris.

As of Thursday, May 28, 2026, Priority Waste trash and recycling collection and yard waste pick-ups are delayed in most areas. Crews are actively working to collect all trash and recycling. Yard waste will be collected for Tuesday-Friday trash districts on Sunday, May 31.
Trash, recycling, and yard waste/compost collection will be delayed by one day beginning Monday, May 25, 2026.
