Nominate homes for Dearborn Aglow Spring by March 16

The Dearborn City Beautiful Commission invites residents to nominate homes with outdoor decorations at their homes or in their neighborhood for honors in the Dearborn Spring Aglow awards program. 

Nominations are due by Monday, March 16, 2026. Nominations and photos may be submitted at Dearborn.gov/CityBeautiful.

The commission will select outstanding outdoor displays celebrating the spring season and holidays observed around March 20, the first day of spring.

Judges, all members of the volunteer commission, will tour the city to look at decorated front yards around March 16-23. Residents are advised to keep outdoor displays illuminated through March 23 to ensure that judges can view nighttime displays and home addresses. 

Honorees are expected to be announced by the commission around Friday, March 27.

The addresses and photographs of the homes chosen for top honors will be publicized. Top honorees and households selected for honorable mentions will receive special window decals.

Top honorees will also be invited to an awards dinner in early 2027, along with residents selected for their outdoor decorations in the fall and winter and those chosen for their curb appeal and outstanding property maintenance in the Residential Standard of Excellence program in the summer.

This is the fourth year that the City Beautiful Commission has presented Spring Aglow, which typically has highlighted Ramadan, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter decorations, as well as natural displays welcoming the return of the season.
