The City Beautiful Commission is a multi-member body that consists of members who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
The mission of the City Beautiful Commission is to promote beautification efforts and public interest in the general improvement of the appearance of the City of Dearborn.
Annual programs include: Residential Standards of Excellence Awards, Business Standards of Excellence Awards, School Clean-Up Parades, and the Dearborn Aglow Holiday Home Decorating Program.

Nominations for the winter awards will be accepted through 12 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024.
Volunteer City Beautiful Commissioners will tour Dearborn neighborhoods to judge holiday and seasonal outdoor displays between Dec. 13 and 16. Residents are encouraged to keep their outdoor decorations lit and their addresses easily visible from the street during this time.
Honorees will be announced after Dec. 16.
Nominate a HomeCity Beautiful Commission meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of each month, except for the months of July, August, and December.
