City Beautiful Commission honors 18 properties in 2024 Business Standard of Excellence program

The City Beautiful Commission has recognized 18 Dearborn businesses for their attractive facades and property maintenance in the 2024 Business Standard of Excellence awards program. Volunteer commissioners chose awardees in six districts based on their curb appeal as supported by their landscaping or signage or improvements to their building exteriors.

The honorees for 2024 are:

Honorees will receive a citation from Dearborn Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud at an awards ceremony in 2025 for all City Beautiful program honorees.

The Business Standard of Excellence Awards is just one of the programs the City Beautiful Commissioners present yearly to support their mission of recognizing and encouraging great property maintenance by showcasing the City’s appealing neighborhoods and commercial areas. The Commission also organizes the summer Residential Standard of Excellence Awards; Dearborn Aglow spring, fall, and winter decorating awards; and coordinates school programs around environmental sustainability and anti-littering.

Mayor Hammoud appoints the commissioners and provides general direction for their initiatives.
