Starting June 18, 2024, the City of Dearborn will begin a road resurfacing project on Schaefer Rd between Warren Ave and Tireman Ave. The project will include several items, including cold milling, integral concrete curb and gutter repairs, the installation of curb ramps, concrete base pavement repairs, traffic maintenance, resurfacing two courses of hot mix asphalt, and pavement markings.
Drivers should expect one lane to be closed in each direction on Schaefer Rd from Warren Ave to Tireman Ave throughout the project. Additionally, left turns to Warren Ave and Tireman Ave and through traffic at the intersections on Schaefer between Warren Ave and Tireman Ave will be closed during certain project duration periods.
The project is expected to last approximately three months, weather permitting.
