Dearborn is actively monitoring updates from the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) following reports of issues with the equipment servicing power redundancy to the Water Resource Recovery Facility. While the Water Resource Recovery Facility remains fully operational, contingency plans are in place out of an abundance of caution. Dearborn residents are encouraged to remain alert and will continue to provide updates as needed.

Southbound Wyoming from Eagle to Dix and westbound Dix to Oakwood are temporarily closed to traffic today, Thursday, June 5, 2025. 

The Dearborn Administrative Center and several City buildings will be closed on Friday, June 6, 2025, in observance of the Eid Al-Adha holiday. 

Residents are asked to avoid the area due to a significant DTE repair project. 

As of Sunday June 1, 2025, Priority Waste trash collection and yard waste pick-ups were delayed in some areas. Crews are actively working to collect all trash and yard waste pick-ups. 

Trash, recycling and yard waste/compost collection will be delayed by one day for the Memorial Day holiday beginning Monday, May 26, 2025.
