Brome Modern Eatery has selected the City of Dearborn’s Tree Fund as the featured cause of its new community giving initiative. As Brome notes, the partnership reflects Brome’s belief that being environmentally responsible isn’t enough on its own. The brand aims to go further by actively restoring and investing in the environment its communities depend on.

Beginning Oct. 1, 2026, guests at Brome’s Dearborn location, 22062 Michigan Avenue, can add a voluntary donation when ordering in person, online, or through the Brome app. All contributions go directly to the City’s Tree Fund and its free residential tree planting program.

“We’re grateful to Brome Modern Eatery for investing in Dearborn’s Tree Fund,” said Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud. “Our local businesses consistently step up for our community, and this is another great example. We’re proud to partner with Brome to make Dearborn greener and hope their commitment inspires others to join us.”

“Being part of the community means doing our part to help it grow and thrive,” said Sam Abbas. “Supporting Dearborn’s Tree Fund was a natural choice for us because it benefits our neighborhoods for generations to come.”

The Free Tree Program allows homeowners to request trees for their front easements, expanding Dearborn’s tree canopy, beautifying neighborhoods, and supporting long-term environmental health. Each year, the City plants thousands of trees in residential neighborhoods. Planting locations and species are selected by professional landscaping contractors to ensure the best fit for each easement, and depending on lot size, some properties may qualify for more than one tree. Residents can request a tree online or by calling the City at 311.
