Dearborn's Newest Holiday Lights Experience at PEACE Park West

Experience the Holiday Lights

Dearborn Wanderlights, a new city tradition blending public art and holiday celebration, will make its inaugural debut at PEACE Park West from Nov. 20, 2025 - Feb. 20, 2026. This free, family-friendly experience will span three months and feature three world-class, interactive light installations from artists across the globe.

Each month, the City will activate the space through themed community events, turning PEACE Park West into a regional destination for winter celebration and community connection.

Holiday Kickoff Event

Dearborn Wanderlights begins with a Holiday Kickoff event & Tree Lighting on Nov. 20, 2025 from 6 - 8 p.m., transforming the park into a dazzling holiday experience with thousands of glittering lights. The opening ceremony will feature:

- Live entertainment
- Complimentary food and festive hot chocolate (while supplies last)
- Glitter tattoos
- Photos with Santa
- LED Artists

and much more!

Summer Market, Movies in the Park & Wellness in the Park

A three-part summer event series in Downtown Dearborn will bring energy, entertainment, and community spirit to East and West Downtown Dearborn. Taking place monthly from June to August, this year’s celebrations will be held in two of the city’s PEACE Parks, featuring activities for residents and visitors of all ages.

Dearborn Summer Market

The Summer Market marks the beginning of Downtown Dearborn's Summer Series, with its opening day on Friday, June 12, at PEACE Park West, from 4 to 8 p.m. Bring friends and family, and enjoy food, entertainment, and activities for everyone.

-Aug. 14 - Cultural Music (provided by Galata Sweets)

Movies In the Park

The Movies in the Park series in Downtown Dearborn returns to PEACE Park East,13621 Michigan Ave, on Wednesday, June 17. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy a special screening of the animated film, Zootopia 2.

-July 23 - Super Mario Galaxy Movie
-Aug. 27 - Surprise screening (provided by the Arab American National Museum)

Wellness in the Park

The Wellness in the Park series returns to PEACE Park West, 22271 West Village Dr. The first event is on Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A second day, in collaboration with Dearborn Public Health, begins Sunday, June 28, with community health education and fitness challenges.
