SNOW EMERGENCY ENDS; CREWS CONTINUE CLEARING & SALTING ROADS (01/15/2026 & 01/16/2026)

With the Dearborn Snow Emergency now over, City road crews are continuing the work of clearing and salting streets. While it is not mandatory, drivers are strongly encouraged to keep vehicles off streets that still require snow removal to aid in the cleanup efforts.

A Snow Emergency is currently active in Dearborn. For the safety and efficiency of city plowing, all vehicles must be removed from residential streets.

Vehicles not removed from streets after 4 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15 may be ticketed by the Dearborn Police Department.

ALERT (01/14/2026)

The City of Dearborn has declared a Snow Emergency on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026. Emergency sirens will sound at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, to alert residents to remove their vehicles from residential streets. 

All vehicles must be removed from city streets immediately to allow for effective snow removal beginning at 4 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. Vehicles not removed from streets after 4 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15 may be ticketed by the Dearborn Police Department.
