Dearborn’s third annual Coffee Week takes place from Sept. 25-Oct. 2, 2026, celebrating local coffee culture, art, and community across the city.

The Sept. 25 kickoff at PEACE Park West, 22271 W Village Dr, features local coffee shop tastings, Ardito Fuel’s Aroma Station, mug painting, caricatures, henna tattoos, DJ Jewels, and Overtime Printshop merchandise.

Jalasat’s mobile cultural platform visits PEACE Park South, 1911 Salina St., on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 5-7 p.m. Supported by the Economic Development Department and the Dix-Vernor Business District Improvement Authority (DVBDIA), the event features live music by Amanda Ekery, Esa Mohamed (Esa Mighty), and Aiman Yahya, family activities, and coffee from Diwan Cafe.

On Sunday, Sept. 27, the West DDDA supports in bringing the DRIP Coffee Party to PEACE Park West from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., presented with Bakri Coffee, City Glow Yoga, BOLT Detroit, @d_troisgirlie, Cafecito Alvarez, and Detroit Is Cool. Advance registration is required: Register Here.

Some of the participating local coffee shops will also host in-shop activations with Dearborn WORKS alumni and the 2025 Night of Innovation winners.

Coffee Week ends Friday, Oct. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at PEACE Park East, 13621 Michigan Ave, with the East DDDA hosted finale featuring music provided by Galata Sweets, Wale 3 Dabke dancing, live coffee painting by Layan Srour, henna, community booths, and Maskoob Coffee House brews.

The Coffee & Culture finale will feature a strolling gallery celebrating Dearborn’s rich coffee tradition. Featuring community-submitted photos, the exhibit captures local shops, gathering spots, daily caffeine rituals, and the spirit of the week, highlighting the pride and local businesses that define our city.  A panel including photographer Ahmed Badr (Badr Photography), Sasha Corder (Dearborn Community Fund), and Siham Said Sahoubah (East DDA) will judge the photo contest.

Dearborn Coffee Week is organized jointly by the East Dearborn Downtown Development Authority, West Dearborn Downtown Development Authority, Warren Business District Improvement Authority, and the Dix-Vernor Business District Improvement Authority.
