The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave, will be closed from Aug. 31 to Sept. 7, 2026, for annual maintenance and the Labor Day holiday. The service desk will remain open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; however, all regular operations will resume Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 5:30 a.m.

During this time, the Center's equipment and facilities will undergo thorough cleaning, reconditioning, and refurbishment. The indoor pool will close to members on Friday, Aug. 28, at 12 p.m.

Members of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center can swim at no cost by presenting their membership card at Dunworth and Ford Woods Pool.

Dunworth and Ford Woods currently offer open swimming weekdays from 4-7 p.m. and weekends from noon to 6 p.m.
