On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, after several months of investigation, and with the assistance of Ford Motor Company Global Security, investigators with the Dearborn Police Department arrested four men in conjunction with a large theft operation involving Ford vehicle parts.

The investigation led Police to believe that a Ford employee was responsible for the theft of new vehicle parts and was providing them to a Detroit business to be offered for sale. On May 6, 2025, search warrants were executed on a Dearborn and Canton residence, and two Detroit businesses.

The identities of the male adults arrested on Tuesday are being held pending official charges from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. More details on the investigation will be provided at a later date.

Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin stated, “These arrests were made possible through the diligent and sophisticated work of our investigative units and with the help and cooperation of the Ford Motor Company Global Security. Such criminal plots will not be tolerated in Dearborn and we will employ all resources to bring them down.”
