Wayne County to begin concrete patching in Southend

Wayne County Department of Public Services has announced a concrete patching project on Dix Rd between Ferney St and Woodmere St in Dearborn's Southend.

This is a three-week project scheduled to begin on May 13, 2026, subject to weather conditions and unforeseen delays.

The County informs driver that traffic will be maintained in all directions but will be reduced to one lane each way. Traffic devices will be placed as needed to direct drivers. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and patience while navigating through these construction zones and to expect delays.
