Schaefer Rd, south of I-94 under the Canadian National Railroad bridge, will be closed Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a bridge inspection. No traffic will be allowed during the one-day closure. Alternate routes and detours will be posted in the area.
Those traveling North on Schaefer Rd should follow the detour below:
- Schaefer Rd to Butler St
- Butler St (right) to Greenfield Rd
- Greenfield Rd to either Commerce Dr south OR Rotunda Blvd
- If Commerce Dr south, turn right at Rotunda Blvd
- If Rotunda Blvd, follow the road until it reconnects to Schaefer Rd
