Dearborn Police ask for public assistance in ongoing investigation in fatal shooting

Dearborn Police continue to actively investigate a road rage incident that became fatal, killing a 19 year-old-female driver from Dearborn Heights.

The shooting incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at the intersection of Tireman Ave and West Morrow Circle.

Police detained three persons of interest following the shooting. Two of the individuals remain in custody on unrelated charges while the third person has been released pending further investigation. Dearborn Police continue to follow leads and will submit findings to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office for formal charges.

Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin stated, “We continue to devote manpower and investigative resources and work with partner agencies to gather evidence in this ongoing investigation. Seeking justice and accountability for the victim in this heinous act remains our priority.
