How to Pay Court Fines, Fees, and Traffic Citations

Fines, costs, and other financial obligations imposed by the court must be paid at the time of assessment, except when the court allows otherwise, for good cause shown (Michigan Court Rule 1.110).

Online payments for Traffic, Criminal or Probation

Tickets issued for moving violations by the Dearborn Police Department may be paid online within 14 days of the date that the ticket was issued through the CLEMIS system. 

All other online payments for fines, fees, and parking tickets for non-moving violations (such as Public Service Day violations), as well as tickets past 14 days, must be submitted through the 19th District Court Online Payment System. CLICK HERE to pay.

Submit Payment at a Drop Box or By Mail

There is a 24-hour drop box located to the left of the main entrance of the courthouse. Make sure that your name and ticket or case number are listed on the check or money order. Checks and money orders must be in U.S. funds payable to the: 19th District Court.

The Court is committed to helping individuals resolve outstanding traffic citation balances in a respectful, convenient, and supportive manner.

To assist with this effort, the Court has partnered with i3 Verticals, a revenue recovery service provider working as an extension of the court. If you have an unpaid traffic citation, you may receive a letter and/or phone call from i3 Verticals regarding your account.

The purpose of this outreach is to provide information about your outstanding balance and assist with resolving the case. Both the Court and i3 Verticals remain committed to treating all defendants with fairness, dignity, and respect throughout the process.

If you receive communication from i3 Verticals, we encourage you to respond promptly. Taking action early may help prevent additional complications and provide an opportunity to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
