The City of Dearborn will perform necessary upgrades to its services platform to modernize and streamline how residents and others do business with the City.

As such, the City will perform a software upgrade between April 6 and April 13, 2026. During this period, the City will only be able to process the following services:

  • Birth and death certificates
  • Property tax bills, histories, and receipts
  • View/inquiry of Dearborn properties
  • Vital Check orders

For this period, the City will only be able to process payment for transactions completed at the Dearborn Administrative Center (DAC) as follows:

  • Cash or check for invoices issued before April 6, 2026. A paper copy of the invoice must be in hand and presented with payment at the Cashier’s Counter.
  • Credit or debit card or checks using the DivDat kiosks at the DAC.
  • Dropbox at the DAC or by mail.

The City will resume all services and will begin accepting all forms of payment on April 14.

Dearborn residents and business owners are encouraged to plan ahead and complete all timely transactions before April 6. Services that can be completed on or after April 14 may be done online on the City's website.
