Beginning Monday, March 10, the City of Dearborn will resume yard waste collection services for the season.
Public Service Days began March 3. These days are meant to improve the efficiency of trash, recycling, and yard waste collection for City and contract workers and allow for more efficient management of other services, including road repairs and sewer and catch basin maintenance.
Public Service Day and yard waste collection coincide with each neighborhood’s regularly scheduled trash collection day. See the map here.
Through Dec. 8, residents should remove parked vehicles from neighborhood streets so services can be addressed and parking tickets can be prevented.
To avoid a parking ticket, vehicles must be removed from the street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every trash day.
Parking restrictions are not enforced on holidays. For questions or a request for a parking exemption due to a hardship, please call 313-943-2150 or complete an application online.
Compost stickers can be obtained from the library branches and the Dearborn Administrative Center, 16901 Michigan Ave. For information on service dates, see the Dearborn City Calendar.
