Dearborn’s City Beautiful Commission honors decorated homes in 2026 Spring Aglow recognition program

For the fourth consecutive year, the Dearborn City Beautiful Commission has announced its selection of homes for top honors in the Dearborn Spring Aglow program.

This year, 47 Dearborn households have been recognized for their outdoor decorations celebrating spring holidays, including themes for Ramadan, Easter, St. Patrick’s Day or other seasonal decorations.  

An additional 94 homes received honorable mention designations.

Nominations for Spring Aglow 2026 were taken from the public through March 16. Commissioners judged front yard decorations March 18-24, dates surrounding March 20, the first day of Spring. 

Up to three honorees were selected in each of the 17 districts created by the City Beautiful Commission. They are listed below:

All selected homes will receive a window decal and a letter of recognition from Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud and the City Beautiful Commission. 

The top honorees will also be invited to a City Beautiful Commission celebratory dinner in early 2027, along with top awardees from the commission’s five other recognition programs.

The City Beautiful Commission is known for hosting Cleanup/Greenup activities with schools each May, for honoring outstanding residential and business property maintenance and landscaping in the summer, and for selecting eye catching holiday and seasonal decorations in the spring, fall, and winter.
