How to Request a Home Inspection:
Before selling a property in Dearborn, the seller must complete and pass a Home Inspection performed by the City. To request a Home Inspection, you must complete an application and submit it to the City with payment.
What you will need:
- Application for a Home Inspection
- Check or money order for payment
How to apply:
- Property owners, legal representatives, or listing real estate agents must submit a completed application form with payment to the city.
- Please be sure to mark “sales” on the application. The request form can be mailed, placed in the dropbox outside the center, or brought in person. The Economic Development Department accepts payment by check or money order through mail or dropbox, or cash and credit card in person at the treasury window.
