ALERT: Power lines and tree branches down due to storm

UPDATE 

Department of Public Works (DPW) crews are picking up fallen branches and debris on sidewalks, roadways, and driveways throughout Dearborn, today, Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, following storms on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024. 

Downed branches will be collected and cleaned up throughout the city based on priority. If it is safe to do so, please move downed branches and debris to residential easements for collection

ALERT - Aug. 27, 2024

Many tree branches and some power lines are down following strong storms on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024. Please stay indoors when possible and at least 25 feet away from downed power lines at all times. Dearborn Fire Department officials are diligently working to safely clean up debris this evening. 

Dearborn Fire will continually provide updates online and via social media.
