PUBLIC SAFETY: Vulnerable or Impaired Person Program (VIP)

Michigan law allows a parent/legal guardian/power of attorney of an individual with special health care needs to voluntarily enroll in the VIP program by providing fingerprints and a photograph of the VIP person. This information is entered into the Michigan State Police database to assist First Responders if the VIP cannot identify themselves. This program is in addition to the City of Dearborn's Disability Registry Program.

After enrolling in the VIP program, you will be contacted by a representative for next steps and necessary information.
