The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the Dearborn area on Friday, May 16, through 2 a.m.

Residents are asked to avoid the area on Venice St between Oakwood and Glover Streets due to a significant paint spill. City crews are working to clean the roadways.

Due to a system error, paper and emailed water bills for properties in Zone 19 were printed with an incorrect due date. Please note: the water bills in Zone 19 are due on May 20, 2025, not May 14 as printed.

As of Friday, May 2, 2025, Priority Waste trash collection crews will be working in the Thursday trash district and will continue pick-ups on Saturday, May 3. 

As of Thursday, May 1, 2025, Priority Waste, the City's waste collection contractor, has reported a half-day delay in recycling and yard waste pick-ups. The Department of Public Works is working with Priority Waste to complete yard waste and recycling pick-ups as quickly as possible.
